It's a Wrap! Another Home Show success

Our 5th annual Merison’s Home Show was a huge success! This year’s theme highlighted what is “Now Trending” in the Home Furnishings industry. Our Merison’s team has traveled and researched all around to bring you the latest styles right here in West Tennessee. For those of you who joined us, thank you for making it such a fun weekend! For those who missed it, I’ve rounded up the top 5 items that created the biggest buzz at our two-day event!

5. This mid-century modern chair provides interesting lines with a fun pop of color for a conversation starter in any room of your home! It was definitely the most talked about accent chair at the Home Show this year.

It is compact enough to easily fit in a child’s playroom or bedroom, and it can also create a fun and unexpected twist in a sitting area or family room.

4. We are currently loving this neutral, updated sectional so we used it as a main showcase piece this year at the show! It can be utilized with various styles and can be configured in many different formats so it fits in almost any space.

Merison’s can customize it to fit your needs, which is what makes this piece so great! Subtle yellow and black tones on the accent pillows pair really well with casual farmhouse tables with rustic wood details, or try it with sleek black accent tables for a more sophisticated style.

3. Power reclining features are one of the hottest things on the market right now. We featured this power recliner with an adjustable headrest and adjustable lumbar support. You can have your choice between the walnut brown or mushroom gray upholstery option!

Creative Co-Op open weave trays

2. These open weave tin trays were the most talked about accessory at our show this year! The trays can be used in so many ways and are available in 3 different sizes.

We styled a large tray with fresh yellow lemons and overlapped a smaller tray on an angle with bright green limes. It was the perfect and simple finishing touch to a dining table.

Other ideas for these trays include: Line the tray with glass vases and filling with fresh flowers. Use the large tray as a display for beloved books. Try arranging your books in color order for a neat and organized look. Line the tray with glass bowls and fill with coffee beans, split peas, or dried beans in your color choice. The options are endless! Get creative and have some fun!

1. This casual counter height dining set that features a two-seater bench created the most excitement at this year’s show! The metal leg detail gives this a casual and slightly industrial vibe.

More chairs can be added to accommodate a larger gathering, or you can customize it with a bench on both sides if you love that look. This table is great for kitchen nooks, casual dining rooms, or even a study table for the kids after school.

I am definitely voting this casual dining look as the most trending piece at our 2017 show!
