Fall Style Watch
If you want to punch up your home interiors for the Autumn season, consider using some of the beautiful new textured fabrics trending this fall. Velvet, plaid, and artisan woven patterns are all the rage in home design! You can add warmth and visual interest to your home accents by using these fabrics in your design.
Velvet is trending right now! Pillows in all colors of the rainbow in velvet add warmth and plush comfort to your décor. Look for trims such as pom-poms and tassels to add a fun twist! You will also see velvet in throws and cozy blankets. Velvet is thick, soft, and luxurious so it definitely adds comfort and textural style to any room. Velvet is also a visually interesting choice for accent furniture like chairs and ottomans!
Plaid is a great fabric pattern that adds warmth, contrast, and visual interest to any room. Plaid just screams “Fall!” to many people. We have been seeing a strong presence of plaid in both our new Autumn and Winter designs. Plaid patterns will also be very popular for Christmas this year!
Many of the plaids are moving away from the usual bright colors we think of and taking on a different variety in gray, white, and soft blue tones this season.
Artisan woven fabrics have taken on a strong presence in Fall décor. From pillows to table runners to wall hangings, these offer unique patterns, colors, and textures. If you are not into “matchy, matchy” fabrics and pieces, then this Artisan look is a great option for you to add texture and an eclectic touch! Many of these patterns can be mixed and matched and often break the normal style rules for an edgy touch.
