Merison's® Furniture Hosts 7th Annual Shopping Event

Paris, TN, March 7, 2019– Merison’s® Furniture will host its 7th annual spring Showcase shopping event on Friday and Saturday, March 15th and 16th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at both Paris store locations. This family-friendly event is free to the public.

Merison’s® will showcase the latest styles and trends in home furnishings and home décor. There will be sales and door buster specials throughout both stores during these two days only as well as special savings on clearance items and one-of-a-kind pieces! Attendees will also have the opportunity to register for giveaways during the event.

“Last year was the first year that we held this annual event at both store locations here in Paris rather than at the Convention Center. We received such a great response that it was a no-brainer to continue the Showcase at our two stores here in Paris this year,” states Adam Smith, Paris store manager.

With over 15,000 square feet of showroom space between the two Merison’s® stores, there is a wide variety of products and options.

“With two stores here in Paris now, we can offer our customers so many more options. This annual event gives us a great opportunity to showcase this to our customers and the community. We want every customer who walks in to feel inspired! We work really hard as a team here to create an atmosphere that is filled with creativity and inspiration. We want our customers to leave with a feeling of excitement and to envision all of the possibilities for their home or space,” explains Merison’s® general manager Meredith Boyd Leathers, “We are constantly working on new and creative ideas, and I think that shows whether you come in to the store or follow our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube.”

Merison’s® offers free design consultations with their design consultants Cindy Lowe and Miranda Rial. Their designers will even visit customers’ homes to measure rooms and consult on furniture placement, colors, and design.

“We love working with our customers to help them create rooms in their home that they treasure!” says designer Cindy Lowe.

Merison’s® designers Lowe and Rial will be available during the showcase to consult about color, texture, and design for customers’ rooms, large or small and no matter the budget. During the showcase, anyone who schedules an in-home design consultation for a later date will receive 20% off of a custom Bassett order.

A few of the regular vendors from last year will return to showcase their wares along with new vendors, with booths set up inside Merison’s® Home Furnishings at 307 Fairview Street at the corner of the Camden Highway 641 South.

Vendors include: Culley Mechanical Services, LuLaRoe – Amanda Swayne, Old Union Boutique, Pampered Chef, Park Lane Jewelry, Rainbow Clean Air Solutions, The Silver Chics, and Younique Makeup.

Eagle Buildings will be offering 2-day only specials during the event including no security deposit, $50 off 8’ or 10’ wide buildings, and $100 off 12’ wide buildings.

Local favorite Perry’s BBQ Truck will be set up on the Eagle Buildings sales location next to Merison’s® Value Furniture at 202 Memorial Drive, across from Lowe’s, on Friday and Saturday.

The Farmer’s Perk, based out of Jackson, TN, will be selling an array of coffee and doughnuts on Friday outside of Merison’s® Home Furnishings at the corner of the Camden Highway 641 South with El Mariachi Loco Taco Truck offering lunch options there on Saturday.

Tim Boyd, Merison’s® owner, said giveaways include more than $10,000 in prizes.

“Prizes include a free room makeover, an Ashley Furniture giveaway, a Bassett® 100% top-grain leather power recliner; a mattress and adjustable base set; several home décor gift baskets and much more! You must be 18 years old to be eligible to win. Everyone who attends will receive a punch card, and you must have it punched at both stores to be eligible to win the prizes,” Boyd said.
